T’was the week before Christmas, and this vicar just got to bed after a long day. So she decided to write a blog in pictures (mostly):

It’s been a lovely week with people from church. I’ve done lots of prep for the services coming up, and generally enjoyed the pre-Christmas buzz.

Soph did manage to stay in the room with FC for a while. The next day was the Group Christmas Party where Daddy was in red, and she did let me give him a crisp, but she wouldn’t go near him, and she cheered when he went away.

This was brilliant, and as Sophia stayed home with Daddy, we didn’t have any repeats of the above! The families there seemed to love it. We were expecting 30 children but even managed to cater for 9 extras who came on the day!

I also had a brilliant night out with the girls from Sweaty Mama on Friday night. It was quite a last minute thing, but it was just what I needed!

The picture at the top shows our Carol Service this afternoon. It was well attended with lots of new faces! We turned the lights down and lit candles all along the side. It was really lovely.
