24 hours or so into our trip, Nathan and I created a little game called Sad Disney Bingo.
It was obviously too late to create Bingo cards, but it was funny to think about what could go on them and soon had us chuckling all the way round the parks.
Things on Sad Disney Bingo include:
Helium balloon floating away into the sky
Helium balloon trapped in the roofing of a ride (we saw two on the carousel)
A dropped icecream
Lost Disney Mickey ears
Lost Disney shoulder buddy
Grumpy Grandpa who is obviously footing the bill sitting on a bench
Loan duckling swimming in the water at It’s A Small World
Small child in despair because their stupidly long dress has torn
Mother in despair because their child’s stupidly long dress has torn
Parents having a bust up
Any Disney item dropped in a place where it cannot be retrieved (eg, bubble wand on top of the coffee hut in the train station, obviously dropped in the long wait at customs)

Child lying down in the middle of a pavement (Sophia did this).
Somebody getting told off on It’s A Small World (Nathan did this)
Mum crying happy tears at the parade (I did this)
Disney adult having an existential crisis
Grumpy man wearing sparkly Disney Mickey ears
Americans complaining about the cuisine (what’s not to love about cheesey potato and sausage?!)
People trying to push in at the parade when everybody else has been waiting for half an hour (we both had very strong feelings about this!)
Breakfast pass guests smuggling Mickey cake and bread rolls out in their pockets (Nathan)
Missing the shuttle bus back to your hotel and needing to wait another 13 minutes (first world problems)
Complaining children in a queue
Hearing ‘How Much?!’ in any Disney shop, restaurant or food truck (we both did this)
Unfortunately placed bird poo
And that’s it! Feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments!
