Hello and welcome to another Two Tuesday. It’s been a funny old week.
We’ve been to a beetle drive pancake party, Kidz Cove play centre, the shops, the park, church in Formby, the pub for lunch with Nathan’s Aunt and Uncle, Whalley Abbey for the clergy retreat and the Doctors for both children to have their jabs!
I particularly enjoyed going back to church in Formby for my training vicar, Mark’s, last service. He’s given such a lot over the last 13 years and it was no surprise that lots of people seemed gutted to see him go.
I had such a delightful morning, worshipping in one of my favourite places and catching up with many brilliant people. Formby and Altcar will always have a special place in my heart. We sat right in front of one of the kids tables, and it showed how at home I was that Sophia settled in really quickly, playing with the toys and happy to wander around and dance. And at least 3 people said how much they like my blogs, so thank you!
Milestones: third baby jabs for Aidan and Sophia’s pre-school jabs! I was offered vaccination appointments one after the other and I decided to take them. Although it wasn’t a nice experience, it meant that Nathan could spare a couple of hours to give me back up. It meant that we got it all over and done with in one go. It meant that they were both feeling under the weather on Saturday, rather than one being super energetic and the other needing quiet. It meant that we could go to the toy shop afterwards and buy them both a treat together. All in all, it was a good move.
Another milestone: today Aidan found his foot with his hand and was very pleased with himself!

What Sophia said: ‘Pizza is really good for people who have had jabs, isn’t it? It will help them get better.’ ‘Oh definitely, Soph,’ I said!
