Hello! Here is my usual Tuesday check in! But as it’s Holy Week and I’m blogging every day, this is going to be super quick.
This week we’ve been to: the park (several times), Little Pegs playgroup (which was absolutely amazing), my Mum and Dad’s, the park in Retford, a canal boat open day, my home church, the swimming baths, the Cathedral for the Chrism service, a world food buffet and St Joseph’s prayer centre for an all day meeting. Lots of tome has been spent in the sunshine.
Milestones: Sophia decided she wanted to be nappy free at night. She was getting herself ready for bed and didn’t put her nappy on. We were at Mum and Dad’s at the time, and they were happy to take the risk. She’s been fine ever since!
Aidan can definitely see Bingley the dog now! You can see him thinking ‘what’s that?!’ but he is following and tracking him.
Food: Aidan continues to fiercely bang his highchair when he’s at the table waiting for food. We’ve taken to calling him Henry because it reminds us of Henry VIII. He loves savoury stuff, especially meat and gravy. Dad’s braising steak went down a storm! He got his hands in his rice this evening, which was messy, but he seemed to love it. He’s also tried parsnip, fish finger and gherkin!
What Sophia said: When we’re out for a walk, Sophia likes to stand on Aidan’s pram facing him, and I push them both along. She’s taken to leaning into the pram, saying ‘goo goo ga ga goo goo ga ga’ over and over again to her brother, who grins and roars with laughter at her!
