36 weeks! Aidan’s nearly been out for as long as he was in!
Anyway, we spent most of the last week away at Ribby Hall Village (separate blog to follow). Here’s what we got up to: swimming every day, soft play, children’s entertainment every day, a woodland walk, puppet making, play park every day, a trip to Lytham St Anne’s and a morning at Preston Market.
Milestones: as a result of all that swimming, Sophia is more confident in the water than she has ever been.
Aidan is still teething and had one heck of a cold while we were away. It was really miserable for him, but he tried his best to have a good time.
Food: Aidan hasn’t wanted much more than my milk this week, because he’s been so under the weather. But his appetite started to return a couple of days ago and a new favourite snack is slices of red pepper with cream cheese spread!
What Sophia said: As always, we’ve had many lovely chats with Sophia this week. One lovely moment was when we were in a play park at Ribby and we were playing cafes with pieces of bark from the floor. A little boy came up and introduced himself and started playing with us. Another little girl joined in, too. Soph was showing them the ‘oven’ and how to pour ‘drinks’. They had a full restaurant business going after a few minutes, and it was lovely to see!
More next week x
