Two Tuesday 39

So, we are night 3 into gentle sleep training the children and I am very tired. I’m not I’ve got a two day old tired, but I’m probably I’ve got a six week old tired. I feel like I’ve got small stones in my eyes and I’m grumpy, so I’ll be brief.

By the way, I know sleep training / gentle sleep training / cry it out / co sleeping / sleep in general is a tricky topic. I’ve done my research and we think we’ve done the right thing for our family.

Anyway, let’s crack on. Places we’ve been: Lidl, the zoo, Southport Food and Drink Festival, St Giles, the park, litter picking, Sefton Baby Baskets and the Hub. I also went to see Hamilton on Thursday evening, and it was superb!

Milestones: Aidan is in his own room!

Food: honestly, it’s all a big blur this week. Apart from Nathan offering Aidan a scotch egg on Saturday, and both kids deciding they love minestrone soup, I can’t remember much.

What Sophia said: We have tried to convince Sophia to stay in her room by saying that Aidan is moving into his own room. So after a long long long night, at 5.30am on Monday morning, I bought Aidan back into our room and fed him so I could get another hour or so of sleep. Sophia arrived and asked sarcastically ‘So is Aidan staying in his own room?’.

More next time x

Thanks to Crosby Wombles for the children’s litter picking pack!
