It’s very late and I was almost asleep when I remembered about the blog, so it won’t be a long one tonight!
Mum life has been pretty good. Aidan had his first hair cut, and Sophia had her first parents evening!
Ministry life is full on, but I feel like I’m getting my groove back, especially with taking services. I’ve been repurposing some sermons I wrote in 2019 (the readings are the same this year). Anyway, 2019 Poppy had her preach on because they’re cracking! Thank you, 2019 Poppy.
Our day off was our last quiet one of 2025! Next week we’ve got a party and from then on in, there’s a church event for one or both of us every Saturday.
What Sophia said: ‘If we hold hands, we are less likely to fall’ She said it in relation to the stairs, but I think it applies to life in general.
What Aidan said: ‘at!’ (hat) when passing us things to balance on our heads.
I’m especially grateful for: a Remembrance Sunday that wasn’t full of stress and worry about getting it right, but was lovely and went well. And Granny and Grandpa for looking after Aidan.
Highlight: Looking through Sophia’s school work at her parents evening and seeing how much she has come on in just 10 weeks.
Coming up: Christmas prep, Christmas prep, Christmas prep!
