Ministry Mum Monday 20

Another Monday, another blog!

One day I’ll learn my lesson and stop imagining that January will be quiet! This week has involved: time in the Hub, meetings with colleagues, a chat to our new curate, choosing hymns, meeting with Uniformed organisation leaders, sweaty mama, faith inspiration video session, meeting with the deanery standing committee, Tappy Toes, a funeral, a pastoral visit, a 2026 events planning meeting, an internment of ashes and a happy day learning to spin wool!

Mum life has been ok, although Aidan and I both have a cold.

Ministry life has been pretty full on, with an average of three things scheduled every day. There is no denying, though, that life is easier now that Aidan is settled and his childcare is consistent!

On our day off we went to the zoo!

Sophia: ‘You’ve got two ‘mmm’s, two ‘p’s and a ‘y’ in each one!’

Aidan is off! His record is 20 steps in a row and he is loving getting himself about. He can also carry things while he walks, and he is very pleased with his little self!

This week I’m especially grateful for a chance to clock off and do something creative.

Coming up: Burns night and a house full!

Skeins!
