Hello! Welcome to blog 27.
Last week involved: meetings, Sweaty Mama, a house blessing, time in the Hub, a pantomime, Sunday worship, an Evangelism conference, Tappy Toes, Lent Study Group, pastoral visits, World Book Day, Sophia’s first class assmebly and a short PCC meeting.
Ministry life is ramping up again. The year kind of ebbs and flows, and we’re building up to a busy season again!
Mum life has been OK apart from the random hoax threat to schools things that happened today. Soph was off anyway because she’d been unwell over the weekend, but it was a pretty bizzare/scary thing to happen.
Our day off didn’t happen all together because I went to an Evangelism conference on Saturday. I took a bit of time off on Friday (which involved Tappy Toes and The Big Shop) and Nathan took the kids to the cinema on Saturday.
Sophia is mostly excited about the upcoming Bebe’s Hive fundraiser on Saturday. She referred to the kids tombola as a ‘teddy bom-dom-bola’.
Aidan attended the PCC meeting because it happened after church on Sunday. We met in the main worship space and he ran around the prayer desk in circles playing peekaboo!
This week I’m especially grateful for: Nathan coming and helping me do the house blessing. I’ve never done one before and was so grateful for his experience and support.
Coming up: Bebe’s Hive coffee morning with head shave! Edited blog banner incoming next week!
