7.30am Morning! My phone fell off the cistern into the toilet last night and is not behaving itself this morning. It’s very much the last thing I need.

10am I’m home looking after the kids and getting some jobs done. It’s amazing what you can get done while they’re watching TV – it’s holy week, it’s fine just this once!

11.40am I’ve got a bit of admin done and I’m just waiting for the last Lent Study to start.

1.35pm A quick pit stop with my colleague to talk about the service tomorrow night before heading to the local nursing home for Easter Communion.

2.45pm Despite being on the back foot because my phone isn’t working (my card, lectionary app, daily prayer app, church contacts are all on there!), my mood was very much lifted for going to the nursing home and doing communion. I know it’s only Wednesday, but it’s their Easter service, so we had the reading for Easter morning. It was very special, and lots of people said they felt better for it, too!

3pm Right, I’ve found a local phone repair shop who said they could fix my phone with a new screen for £75, and do it today! Hooray!

4.30pm Cake eaten, admin done, phone collected and working – an Easter mircale! Time for home.

7.10pm Nice smiley photos of kids in the bath, how gorgeous.

8.45pm After putting the phone on charge, it will now not even turn on. I am devastated. Not only is this a major inconvenience and a waste of money, but the video of Sophia meeting Aidan is on that phone and isn’t anywhere else. I’ve tried plugging it into my laptop too, and there’s nothing registering on either device.

9pm I am distracting myself by going to St Giles to borrow some things from the Godly Play room for the reflective hour at the cross on Friday. There’s nothing I can do about the phone right now, so I may as well fill my time productively.

9.56pm. I think I need to go to bed. I will be going back to the phone shop in the morning, but bloody hell, what a nightmare.
