Hello and happy Monday (yes, it’s Monday!).
It’s been a busy old week, with the most amazing 24 hours home in Retford! This week has also involved: choosing hymns, Baptism prep, church council meeting, home communion, Inspired podcast, Ecumenical Morning Prayer service, lunch with a friend, Tappy Toes, Musical Theatre class, Sunday worhsip and Open Table.
Ministry life is exciting as we begin to look towards all that we’ve got planned over the next few months. Family life is beautiful and golden.
Sophia and I spent some time this week arguing over who was going to have the first cuddle with our new family member! In the end, we agreed that she would sit on my knee while we held the baby together!
Aidan has made good use of the word ‘be-bee’ (baby) and can also say ‘eet’ (feet), dar (car) and peez (please). That last one was a good use of a bag of sweets, in my opinion!

This week I’ve been praying that my car wouldn’t break down. Sadly, it was making such a racket that I didn’t feel confident driving it back home from Retford. However, all was not lost because…
