2.30am Soph awake! 3am She's back down in her cot. 6.30am Soph awake! Alleluia, Christ is risen! He is risen indeed, alleluia! 8.20am We are up, dressed, and getting ready to go. Soph will be at ASSF for the 9am BCP and main Sunday service today. We decided it was best to keep her away [...]

8.10am We have made such good progress in getting Soph to stay in her own room over the past couple of months, but I fear that we might have undone it all this week. She came in with us at 2.30 this morning. Never mind! 9.00am It's been nice to have a slightly slower start [...]

Holy Week 2023: Good Friday

6.10am She's up! It could be worse, I supposed. 8am When I checked my emails before bed last night, I found this: I'm going to bring a submarine roll with brie and grapes. Would you like me to do one for you? How lovely is that?! 9.20am Soph and I are just about ready to [...]

4.10am (again!) Soph awake. I'm not risking being awake for over an hour like last night. She's coming in with us, I need to sleep! 9.15am Nathan and Soph are on their way to Warrington for Soph to spend the day with her Nanny and Grandad! 9.40am Yikes, Nathan just called and Soph has been [...]

We're loving lighter evenings and the chance to play in our beautiful garden!
Knit number 16 has arrived at it's new home!
Sophia can't knit (yet) but she is capable of discovering a stash of wool in the spare room drawer and doing this. I'm choosing to see it as art (although untangling it all will take a bit of time).
It's hard to pick my top picture from yesterday in #Liverpool but this one is pretty good! We got to see Gaia from a boat!
The perfect way to start our day off ❤️
Secret gardens with impossibly green leaves. No filter at all!
