‘Twas the week before Christmas and the vicar was collapsed on the settee with a bowl of chinese after working nearly 60 hours since Monday morning.

So I’ve decided not to say much about those 60 hours (three services written, three reflections written, two funerals prepped, one funeral taken, three meetings attended, Foodbank done, online Christmas Fair organised, posters made, orders of service printed, prayers written, presents wrapped) because, as great as all that has been, I’m far too tired.

But I just want to say thank you to the family who gave three boxes of toys to Foodbank, plus a large cash donation to be spent on presents for kids without anything this Christmas. Your determination to give back is inspiring, thank you. You are all stars.
