Hello and Happy Monday! We are back after a week of leave, most of which was spent on Holy Island (blog to follow, as always).
Ministry life is about to ramp up big style. We are about to enter the tinsel tunnel, as one of my colleagues referred to it today! nevertheless, I had a beautiful Sunday yesterday, with a joyous baptism service and hanging out with Sophia and Aidan in the afternoon, as Nathan had a packed day.
Mum life: I have learned a big lesson: Aidan is wild when he is overtired. He becomes feral and his ears seem to stop working. Frustrating, yes, but at least I know!
Sophia has not one but two wobbly teeth!
More news on the teeth front, Aidan has cut tooth 17! It’s just the big molars at the back to go now, but we are at the beginning of the end! He has also dropped ‘Mama’ in favour of ‘Mummy’ which is very cute and very sad all at once.
Nathan’s week in three (ish) words: No Vikings Seen.
This week I have been praying for peace, which i found in the big skies and fresh air of Northumberland.
I am especially grateful for: the tangible presence of God as I looked out from the communion table and sensed how much God loves each person in the room.
Coming up: Bebe’s Ozdust Ball!
More next time x
