Ministry Mum Monday 40

40! 40 weeks on Ministry Mum Life with two! Wowzers, the time is flying.

Last week: meetings with congregation members, a meeting with a charity worker, meeting with Uniformed organisations, working breakfast, prayer meeting, Inspired podcast session, Tappy Toes, Rainbows, the dentist for S&A Sunday prep, Paint & Prosecco night and a grand total of 30 seconds of Sophia’s sports day!

Our day off involved the park, the shops and Paint and Prosecco at church in the evening.

Ministry life feels a pretty good, especially since I gave the office a good tidy! There’s lots of good stuff going on at the moment, too, and Sunday morning and the prayer meeting today were particularly special. God keeps turning up and it’s very moving!

I also had a really great time at Paint and Prosecco on Saturday night. It was very relaxing and there was a nice chilled vibe. There were mostly non-church people there and I had some great chats!

Mum life is good too. I was proud to be attending Sophia’s first sports day but a bit frustrated when it was rained off within 30 seconds and the sun came out minutes later!

Apparently they are building a new startbucjs on the carpark of our Asda and Sophia is wnjoying watvhing it being built. She said ‘ooh, look at that! They’ve done more building on our Starbucks!’

I ws amused by the word our. So I said: ‘It’s nice of them to build us a Starbucks isn’t it?’

‘It’s pretty crazy!’ She replied.

Aidan is saying more words every day. This week we’ve had: ‘Addan’ and ‘Doph’, Aidan and Soph. ‘Woy-ida’, what is that? And the dreaded ‘no no’.

I’m so grateful for church and out wonderful, kind, generous, loving, flexible, strong team.

Coming up: The Pet Service!
