So it's 23.47 and I forgot about my blog until a couple of minutes ago! Here's a whistle stop tour of my week. Highlights: A trip to Kingsley and Co in Bootle with Mum and Sophia today. A really great service at church on Sunday. New faces and a real sense of community! Various meetings [...]

It's Friday again! Isn't time going quickly? I feel like I'm getting into the swing of things a bit better this week. 'Work' is less of a shock and Nathan and I seem to be gradually adjusting to the new pace of life. So, this week's highlights! Preaching again on Sunday was great. I didn't [...]

Hooray for Friday! What a week. All this juggling is taking some getting used to! So, highlights include: Sunday morning service with the lovely David, who has covered lots of services for me over the past six months. A trip to Crosby for Cine-babies this morning. It's been a bit of a mad few months what with one thing or another, but @naythorpe is just wonderful. He's strong, faithful and caring, and a great husband, Dad, vicar and priest. He's my favourite 🌟
When we were on holiday we visited St David's Cathedral and I was very struck by this statue of Mary and Jesus. I love how he snuggles into her and that look on her face which to me says fulfillment, tiredness and strength all at once.
❄️
Mine and @naythorpe's first joint project! These will be sent off to our Goddaughter in the next week or so. Nathan did the scarf and the mittens are my knit number 13.
How long until she actually starts doing laundry?!
Another knit that went off over Christmas! I accidentally bought the wrong kind of wool for what I needed so I decided to make a face cloth instead. Knit number 12.
