And just like that, it’s another Friday night! Another week gone, another inch or so around my stomach!
This week is getting 6.5/10 – a slight improvement on last week. We’ve had a couple of days off and it’s lovely to think that end of lockdown may be in sight, but boy is it dragging!
So this week has involved the service on Sunday followed by a very busy couple of days cramming in all the jobs for the week so that we could have Wednesday-Saturday off. I had some meetings, prepped for Sunday, marked fifteen assignments, sorted out some folders, organised a foodbank donation and did Food Pantry deliveries.
Sicne then, it’s been nice to be off. I found a terrible Netflix series to binge (Are you the one?), cooked some nice food and enjoyed lots of sleep. Today I took myself out for a walk and came back with a migraine (typical!) but I’m feeling a bit better now. But it’s just not the same having a holiday at home, is it? And I know it’s such a ‘first world problem’, I know there’s so many other things going on, I know I’m so blessed to live in such a beautiful house, but I’d really like to be able to go somewhere else for a while, even if it was just for a day.
Anyway, onto something more positive. Tomorrow I’m going to a Zoom Hen Do which is a Disney themed murder mystery party! I get to be a witch and I have every intention of painting my face green and making my hair all crazy and curly! So excited for that!
See you next time 🙂
