Ministry Mum Monday 58

Sometimes, you forget it’s Monday until it’s Tuesday.

Sometimes, you’re more tired than usual.

Sometimes, you have a headache you can’t shake.

Sometimes, you can’t stop critiquing your Sunday performance.

Sometimes, there are mice in your house.

Sometimes, the downstairs loo won’t stop leaking.

Sometimes, your toddler decides he hates napping.

But apart from all that, there have been some lovely bits of the past week. Praying with two faithful women at church. Hanging out with my new nephling. Rediscovering Gü zillionaire cheesecakes.

Sophia came home with the news that she has been made class champion! This means she will be helping with tablets and computing.

Aidan is very into cars, specifically Mercedes, which he calls Bubba because Bubba has one. Now, as we drive to and from nursery, he peers into passing driveways shouting ‘Bubba!’ when he sees that special little symbol.

Nathan’s week in three (ish) words: on it goes.

This week I’ve been praying for church, Christmas and our plans to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the reordering of the buildings next year.

This week I am especially grateful for a good book.
