So, this is my 100th blog on RevPoppy! How crazy is that? A lot of things have since I set up the site during my first month of curacy in 2017, and I love that lots of it is recorded here! First I was ordained and there were all sorts of surprises, then there was [...]

Happy Friday evening everyone! This week has been pretty good and so I am giving it 9/10. Here's this week in a nutshell. On Friday we became a 2 car family, and we bought a car for Nathan to drive when he passes his test. That evening, we had a beautiful meal with the Ministry [...]

Weekly Check-in (8)

August 30, 2019 revpoppy2 Comments

Just a very quick one to say that we are away on our own for a little while. For the first time in several years, I have decided to have some proper quiet. For a couple of days, I'm going to be technology free, catch up on some sleep and read books that I love. [...]

It's been a bit of a mad few months what with one thing or another, but @naythorpe is just wonderful. He's strong, faithful and caring, and a great husband, Dad, vicar and priest. He's my favourite 🌟
When we were on holiday we visited St David's Cathedral and I was very struck by this statue of Mary and Jesus. I love how he snuggles into her and that look on her face which to me says fulfillment, tiredness and strength all at once.
❄️
Mine and @naythorpe's first joint project! These will be sent off to our Goddaughter in the next week or so. Nathan did the scarf and the mittens are my knit number 13.
How long until she actually starts doing laundry?!
Another knit that went off over Christmas! I accidentally bought the wrong kind of wool for what I needed so I decided to make a face cloth instead. Knit number 12.
