Weekly Check-in (68)

Happy Friday! I am rating this week 7/10. Things are much better in Chez Thorpe. Nathan hasn't had a temperature for days and his cough has almost gone. He got out of isolation yesterday and I will be allowed out on Sunday, just in time for church this week! We are still being careful with [...]

Hooray for Friday and hello from Covid Central! Anybody who read my update on Monday will know that Nathan has also tested positive for Covid, despite our best efforts to isolate from each other last week. So although I am feeling much better, Nathan is definitely not right. He's had a temperature most days and [...]

COVID-19 (an update)

October 19, 2020October 19, 2020 revpoppy2 Comments

The Covid saga continues! After getting a temperature and a cough, Nathan tested positive with coronavirus today. He called 119 yesterday morning and went for a test at lunchtime. Sophia had a lovely time scooting around St Giles this morning, and she slept for an hour afterwards so I think we'll need to do this more often!
So on world wide knit in public day, I didn't manage to knit in public because I forgot my knitting! But I did see this amazing bicycle knitting in Formby, so I thought I'd share it!
Chuffed with these meringues!
It's called 'vicar doing facepaints for the afternoon' realness 🎀
Knit number 7 - sling socks! These are for Sophia to wear when she's being carried around in her sling. I came up with the design myself.
The highlight of my weekend was painting this car! Well, a tiny bit of it, anyway!
